Sellable vs Unsellable Stock
Sellable vs Unsellable Stock

What is the difference between Sellable and Unsellable stock?

Updated over 3 weeks ago

What do these status's even mean?

  • Sellable Stock represents inventory that is ready for sale and meets quality standards.

  • Unsellable Stock is designated for items that are damaged, either upon receipt or through returns, and cannot be sold.

These statuses are not interchangeable toggles and cannot be used for managing what appears or does not appear on your website.

Moving stock between these statuses requires manual intervention and is not the intended function for managing product visibility online.

They typically manage product visibility on their websites independently, using front-end tools or apps to:

  • Temporarily hide items from being listed for sale on their site.

  • Display items that are "coming soon" and available for purchase at a later date.
