Processing

"Processing" is a status that indicates the order has been received and is being prepared for shipment. This status may include activities such as verifying payment, restocking inventory, or preparing shipping labels."

On Hold

  • Inventory Unavailable

    • The "Inventory Unavailable" status means the product is out of stock and cannot be fulfilled. This could be due to various reasons, such as high demand, manufacturing issues, or delays in shipping. The order will be put on hold until the inventory is restocked, and then it will be processed for shipment.

  • Invalid Address

    • The "Invalid Address" status occurs when the address provided by the customer is incomplete or incorrect and, therefore, cannot be delivered. This could be due to needing more information such as apartment numbers, incorrect postal codes, or incorrect street names. The order will be put on hold until the customer provides a corrected address or until the customer cancels the order.

  • Fraud Risk

    • Fraud Risk is a status that occurs when there is suspicion of fraudulent activity with the order. This could be due to various reasons, such as a mismatch between the billing and shipping address, an unusual payment method, or a high-value order. The order is put on hold while it is reviewed for potential fraud, and may be cancelled if the suspicion is confirmed. This is limited to Shopify orders.

  • Review Required

    • The "Review Required" status means that the brand is reviewing the order for various reasons, such as high-value orders, unusual payment methods, or a mismatch between the billing and shipping address. The order is put on hold while it is reviewed, and may be cancelled if the brand determines that the order poses a risk. This status is not limited to any specific platform or channel.

  • Customer Request

    • The "Customer Request" status means that the customer has requested a change to their order (typically using Aftercare), such as adding or removing items, changing the shipping address or method, or cancelling the order altogether. The order is put on hold while the request is reviewed and processed. If the request is approved, the order will be updated accordingly, and if the request cannot be accommodated, the customer will be notified and the order will be cancelled or modified as necessary.

  • Missing Product Data

    • "Missing Product Data" is a status that occurs when the product type or commodity code is not provided for an international order. This information is necessary for customs clearance, and without it, the order cannot be processed. The order will be put on hold until the missing information is provided or until the order is cancelled.

  • Missing Customs Value

    • "Missing Customs Value" is a status that occurs when the customs value is not provided for an international order. The customs value is the declared value of the goods being shipped and is used to calculate taxes and duties that may be levied by customs authorities. Without the customs value, the order cannot be processed, and it will be put on hold until the missing information is provided or until the order is cancelled.

  • Invalid Shipping Method

    • The "Invalid Shipping Method" status occurs when the weight, size, dimensions, or destination of an order are not supported by the selected carrier, and therefore cannot be processed. The order will be put on hold until the issue is resolved, or until the order is cancelled.

Once an order is cancelled, it is no longer considered active, and the customer will typically receive a refund if payment has already been processed.
